Cults- Go Outside
The New York duo made up of Madeleine Follin and Brian Oblivion began making music together in February 2010. They've been sprinkling listeners with a few tracks here and there since then. Earlier this year they were signed to Lily Allen's label In the Name Of and released Cults on June 7th. Produced by Shane Stoneback (Sleigh Bells, Vampire Weekend) the album is laden with infectious choruses and synths/samples that are very reminiscent of 50's sugar pop. The blogosphere is blowing up about it, but so are major music outlets...
