These "Paint and Sound Sculptures" are part of Japanese design and advertising studio Dentsu's campaign for the Cannon Pixma Ink and Printer. Dentsu teamed up with photographer Linden Gledhill to use high speed cameras to capture ink droplets bouncing up and down when vibrated by sound waves coming from a speaker. Yeah.
